Yeah - get the letter from your doctor. My sister travels with hers and carries a lap-top too. She has definetly been hassled for having too many carry-ons. She doesn't check in her luggage since she does 2-3 day business trips and has a very small wheel-around carry-on. I think it was Portland or Seattle where they made her stuff two bags together. (NEVER do check-in on the CPAP!!)

DH travels a LOT and finds that it isn't as big as a hassle as it used to be I think they are seeing more of them and so most people that do the checking recongize it.

Always carry it on......when they look inside, if they are going to touch it, DH always makes them put new gloves on!
