Okay how come Riviera is not included? I'm assuming it's a new association? You do have access to reserve at the new building as it's all under one association.
Riviera is not included because they implemented resale restrictions in 2019 and Riviera was the first resort to have them where going forward resale owners are not allowed to book new resorts. The original Grand Floridian DVC association was made in 2014 which is why there's only 40 years left on the contract for Grand Floridian even if you buy it directly from Disney right now as opposed to the full 50. They're currently selling it but since it's not a new association, resale owners are allowed to book there.Okay how come Riviera is not included? I'm assuming it's a new association?
Early 2022….Well that's crazy interesting. So many stipulations associations rules and loopholes. I'm looking forward to staying at the new units at Grand Floridian. Any idea when they'll be done.

Lol I guess I'm a little slow. The new ones that they're building are the Polynesian got that confused.I was super confused for a hot second.
Commonly referred to as Poly2 on the board. We don’t know wether it will be part of the current Poly association (with resale access except for Rivera and future Disneyland tower contracts) or a new association (with only direct or future Poly2 resale access).Lol I guess I'm a little slow. I think part of me is leaning towards separate just because of how big the building is. This wasn't some quick flip like VGF2, this is it's own full blown tower. Disney doesn't just build these things out of the kindness of their heart and to provide more options to owners. We may be looking at a CCV/BRV situation here. As per everything in this entire thread though all speculation.. hell just a couple weeks ago I was saying it may be the same because it would fill the niche for 1/2/3BRs for PVB so I really don't know. I keep going back and forth. What I do know is these boards are going to explode once they finally announce what it is and we'll have a group of people who are very disappointed that it's the same/different association and others who are very happy it's the same/different association and that will spark a lot of debate lol.Granted when DVC announced VGF2, they immediately announced it was part of VGF1 association. POLY2 was announced a while ago and should go on sale in about 6 months and there has been no word on the association. I could be wrong, but I am leaning it will be a separate association.
