New "blue bar" on DIS

So who likes the new blue advertising bar that keeps popping up while searching the DISboards? Even when you hit the "x", it keeps popping back up. Dreams Unlimited, can you please rethink this?

Where is this new blue bar? I'm not seeing anything different here on DISboards. Except on the Community Board where they've added the right hand column for advertising (like the one on the main forum page).

For those that do have a comment about such things I suggest that you send an email to admin@wdwinfo with your concerns.

I am using my ipad and there is a blue bar that pretty much continually scrolls down the page as you read each thread. Nice to know that it may not be effecting everyone!

So I sent a message and then had the brilliant idea to shut down my ipad and restart it - voila, no more annoying bar! Thanks again!

Glad it worked for you. I'll admit - computer "stuff" isn't really my forte. That's why I try to turn such things over to those who know.

I have been having the Dis hang up, fail to load, be totally sluggish each time I am here. This has been going on for the last month or so. There have been a bunch of threads on the Community board about it. I don't know if this is related to your blue bar issue but folks have recommend using www.adblockplus.org

Worked so far for me. Seems the ads are messing up the board.

I've been getting the blue bar on my iPad today too. You're not alone!!

PrincessShmoo is right, this is the best way to let the folks who run the boards know about an issue.

I haven't noticed any ads. But (as a tip for anyone having issues) I was using Edge and pages kept freezing. I think it has to do with Edge's integration with plugins. I went back to using Internet Explorer and it was fine.
