New BLT Buy In Questions

What is the cost for a new DVC contract at BLT? I think I would be interested in a contract between 165 and 185 points. I have seen a lot of talk about $5 off per point but only in reference to add ons. Are there any incentives for newbies? Thanks.

BLT pricing is $112 per point - there is a $5 incentive discount for new purchases (160 point minimum). The first 1000 to purchase 160 or more points will get their name on the fountain at the resort. BLT sales began today for general purchase. There are no developer points, reward cards or other purchase incentives beyond the $5 discount lowering the effective price to $107 per point.

My understanding is that only the first 1000 *existing* DVC members to purchase at BLT are considered Founding Members and get the name tile. But I can confirm that the $5 pp discount is the only incentive for new purchasers.

The founders tiles were open to any and all people who bought, they just have to be the first 1000.

The tiles are ONLY open to existing DVC'ers who purchase at BLT and among the first 1000--unfortunately. This is from absolute firsthand experience.
