new blog: Culinary Quest: Tangaroa Terrace Opens at the Disneyland Hotel

Great article Tony. I really enjoy all the photos. This will be on my list for my next trip. Thank you.:thumbsup2:tink:

THANK YOU.. we have been waiting for this to open. Can't wait to eat and spend some time at Trader Sams'!

Keep up the good work - Loved the photos of the food.

Wish you all of you from the Disneyland team could come up for the Pacific Northwest Mouse meet June 25th.

Nice job with those pictures. I have to say that my kids will definitely agree that it is a bummer that regular fries are not an option. They used to love getting a burger and fries at Crocks in the evening.

Thanks for the nice feedback, everybody. With Trader Sam's right next door and the island atmosphere of the place, Tangaroa Terrace has a really nice vibe. We lingered for awhile after dinner just to enjoy the beautiful weather and listen to the music. Disney did a good job with this one. :)

That was my only gripe when Country Bear opened up again with the new menu. I was bummed they did it to me again. I'm still hoping they'll add real fries in eventually.

Thanks for the review, Tony. Looks great! I love all the new choices.

I'm sure the yam fries are just a stage because they're trendy, they won't be around forever.

Thanks for the great article!! Do you have any idea how much the pineapple upside down cake and the mickey shaped dessert are? Thanks :)

Sorry for omitting the dessert prices from the blog. I didn't write down the individual prices for the different choices, but I believe they ranged from about $4-6. They have a full pastry case, plus more desserts in the refrigerated grab-and-go section.

I agree! I'm glad they have different things, but I want a choice. I want the option to have real fries too. How hard can that be? Who is the vice president in charge of fries at DLR? :lmao:
