We decided to go to Disney this January with our 4 month old. My husband and I have been every year since our Honeymoon and last year found out we were having our little angel only a week after we got back. So it's only fitting that we take him this year. We are very used to going solo--so what do I bring witha baby? We will be staying at CBR and will be bringing his jogging stroller.

Congrats on your LO! :goodvibes
It seems like 4 months old is a very popular age for newborns to travel to WDW. We are taking our DD in February, and she will be just over 4 months at that point!

This thread was started recently, and I think it has alot of good information for you: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2028372

Packing for a baby you really have to anticipate EVERYTHING you could possibly need.
--Formula, if you're FFing
--Bottles, Nipples
--Water for mixing if you're FFing
--Diapers
--Wipes
--Diaper Rash Ointment
--Gas Meds (I love me some Mylicon!)
--At LEAST 3 sets of clothes per day of travel
--Burp cloths

And that's just for starters! Hopefully some of the other experienced parents will have more ideas as far as what to bring with you. I know that I will be making my list soon!

ETA -- DH and I went in Dec of 07, and we got pregnant soon after. Apparently there was something in the water!! We stayed at the CBR that time, and it was our honeymoon, lol. Small world.

The diaper bag stuffed with the usual: diapers, wipes, sanitizer, bottle/formula (if not nursing), changing pad, spit up cloths/bibs, etc
In a separate bag (or if you have a large diaper bag): at LEAST one change of baby clothes, extra diapers and wipes, change of at least shirt for you (& dad)--love the spit-ups and poop-out, baby blanket/comfy (for naps), depending on time of year jackets/sweaters for all.
Make sure to a) have your info on you stroller, b) find a way to identify you stroller from others, c) THINK about a way to secure you stroller if you are worried it may stroll away from you. NEVER LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR STROLLER!!!
AND REMEMBER the camera/cancorder to capture all the "firsts" moments for your family.
CONGRATULTIONS!!!

We went this past Jan. (great time to go) with our DD 3 1/2 mos.
I was nursing her, but she went on a nursing strike and thank goodness for the Baby Care Centers!! We needed to buy a bottle and some formula. I loved the baby care centers for taking a quiet break from the parks with her. I also used a snuggly and the stroller too. The snuggly was great for waiting in lines. For Jan. weather its all over the place so I brought a baby bunting/one piece coat. I was glad that we had that in the evenings. I didnt worry so much about her getting cold and trying to keep a blanket on her while in the stroller. It had attached mittens and booties so she stayed toasty. 4 mos. is a great age to take to Disney. They go anywhere you want them to without pitching a fit:rotfl2:

We went in November with our 2 month old, and as pp have suggested, I highly recommend some sort of baby carrier - so nice to have free hands, and then your arms aren't getting tired holding him if you're in line for awhile. I had a Sleepy Wrap, and was even able to nurse him while he was in the wrap, perfect for staying on the go :)

We brought my 3 1/2 month old in the summer.
It was wonderful. But ... about 3 days into our 7 days trip she started having major teething pain!
We were offsite and had a rental car so we popped over to Walmart. But, we already had baby tylenol that we were able to give her.
So, I totally recommend teething gel (or whatever you use).

We went in November with a 2 month old. Besides the usual this is what I learned:

Bring twice as many diapers as you think you will need, esp. if you are using ME. We got into Orlando around noon, but our luggage wasn't delivered until close to midnight.

Bring an extra shirt for yourself in your diaperbag or just leave it in your stroller. Bring an extra outfit and onsie for the baby too.

Wipes, wipes, wipes!

We brought our carseat and ended up not using it at all. DS was much happier laying flat in his stroller than in the carseat. I think he would get too hot in there. Since he was a lap child on the plane, it was a pain to tote that thing around!

Swaddle blankets. Your own sheet for the pack-n-play

Lysol wipes. Every restaurant we went to had the infant high chairs, but they were beyond dirty. So I wiped them down really well and put a blanket down over the straps.

Hat for you LO.

Any questions, fell free to PM me. :)

A stroller that reclines flat, a sling for carrying baby, LOTS of diapers and wipes, and extra clothes for everyone. Have fun!

They're easy at that age :)

A baby sling, diapers & wipes, extra clothes... and that's about it!

Disposable changing pads
Lots of diapers & wipes
Burp/spit-up cloths if baby spits-up
Blankets
Pacifiers if baby uses them
Many changes of clothes
Small toys that can attach to car seat or stroller
Infant Tylenol, thermometer, any other meds or first aid items you might need

We brought our youngest when he was 5 mos and it was great. They are still so easy at that age.

Have a wonderful trip with your little one! :goodvibes

I agree about bringing extras of diapers & wipes.

I've been trying to pay attention to how many diapers/wipes we use...

So far, we use about one refill pack of wipes every 4 days... and I'm going for 7... so I figure I will bring at least 3 packs, so I'm covered.

And a good idea about the disposable changing pads. My sister pointed them out at WalMart yesterday, too.

My biggest suggestion (as it always is) is to find yourself a good baby comfy baby carrier. Esp. with a young baby, something to help hold your baby while you are in line is just critical. At 4 mos, I might consider a mei tai. Here are a few.

A ring sling or pouch would work as well but the mt is super comfy. You can leave the baby in the baby carrier while you ride rides. Makes it so convenient.

We brought our youngest DD when she was almost 5 mos. One thing I read about on the boards was to bring with disposable dish towels (the kind with the soap already in them). Cut them up into smaller pieces and use them to wash bottles, dishes, baby spoons, etc.

I agree with the PP - don't forget to bring cleaning supplies for your bottles and binkies. We usually take a small bottle of dishsoap, a bottle brush and 1-2 dishtowels. Lots of wipes and disposable changing pads. Babies R Us sells their brand that are thin, yet absorbant - and affordable. I never leave home without them.
