We are planning our first family trip to DL in June. I have many questions about DL. I know how to get around WDW with my eyes shut with both hands tied behind my back, but DL........ I need help!!!! I figured the DIS boards helped me whith WDW so I figured you could help me with DL. My first question is we usually stay on site but at DL I am not so sure we will be able to stay onsite in June. We are looking at Hojo, Candy cane inn, or Best Western Park place, due to the closeness of these places. Any opinions on these places?? What rooms are good (no noise, good view..). My next question is any tricks, secretes, do not miss things you would like to share, I/we are open to suggestions. I think that is all for now. Thank you and have a wonderful day!!:)

My sister just went to Candy Cane Inn and liked it. It also has good reviews on Trip Advisor. I've never been but decided we should try it next time we go.

One tip: Don't think in terms of spending all one day at DL and all one day at DCA. It only takes a minute or two to walk between the gates. If DL opens first during the time you go, go there first. Then around lunch or afternoon hop over to DCA. You can then come to back to DL again. Sometimes we hop two or three times a day. :)

Info on all of the above and a lot more is given by one of my favorite DIS posters ;)

I agree. Other things not to miss are Matterhorn, Submarines, Roger Rabbit, Space Mountain (different and so much better than WDW). Ride the train around the whole park. Eat at Blue Bayou (get a waterside table if you can). Aladdin at DCA.
