If you get an AP rate, it is qualifying now. Just to let you know!!! It has been for a bit.

I have no idea. I really wish you could've gotten it, although I was more nervous than excited about how low the rate was. I thought Harry Potter wasn't opening, Loews dropped them, and I'd have to bring my own bedsheets.

But I last stayed for New Year's.. I already had my June trip booked when I got the PIN. I called to adjust to the lower rate.

As for the previous questions, AP, surveys, YouFirst, all that business, yes.

No PIN for myself or my wife either. We have a room booked but not under both APs so name checking wouldn't disqualify us.

BTW, just for the fun of it I checked the special Florida resident's rate for the date of our stay. It's $30 more than we already paid. The AP rate has also gone up $30 so the resident special matches the current APH rate. So, barring a PIN number dropping out of the sky, it's a good thing we didn't wait to book.

Most posts in this thread say "travel till June 10th"....except for 1 person, TraceyL, who got it and is traveling in July.

So...I was thinking they were trying to fill rooms in Mar, April, May and first week of June, thinking most peeps would wait till later June and the rest of summer anyway (kids outta skool, HP def. open, etc).... But that doesn't explain TraceyL...unless, they are going to plan another release for 'summer' and she mistakenly got lucky and got 1 early?

I posted earlier about receiving the email. I was there in December and already had our Feb. trip booked when I got it. I was able to lower my rate for the Feb. trip.

I am a new AP holder (as of December). I've done a few surveys and am a Loews member. My parents live in FL so I also receive FL resident emails to keep an eye on things for them.

I've got to tell you that I've been to Disney more times than I can count and I have NEVER received any of their email/pin codes. Used to really tick me off! That is doublely why I was so stoked to receive the one from Uni. People on the Disney side say they don't send those codes out to people who already go all the time. Maybe that is the case here? I'm fairly new to the darkside. I was there for two short trips in '09 and before that it had been years. We're all loving it now that the kids are big enough for the coasters so I bought the annual pass for this year knowing we'll be back a couple of times.

My PIN has the same validity as everyone else's .

I am already booked for July (UK 7/4 glitch) so the PIN is of no use to me as our trip is already planned for July/Aug (bit far to come for a couple of days in June as well )

I received a PIN in my email this morning. If you read some of my earlier posts I complained to US that they didn't have an email address on file for us as PAP holders. They updated that for us. Well the PIN was sent to a DIFFERENT address than the one I gave them. Reading the OP I see that they have changed it from Annual Pass Holders to just a general announcement. So people who are receiving emails now are in the second wave, they must have sent them out to passholders first and moved to a different mailing list later.

BTW I called and the PIN rate was $1 more than the APH rate I already had. They could have had an even better rate the first time around but I guess I'll never know.

So...I'm thinking they are trying to fill rooms between now and June 10th...their slow season. My theory holds. Maybe it's unusually slow because people are postponing their trips to further into the summer when they know for certain WWoHP will be open.

and....I can't see EVERY AP holder getting a pin....just too many of them!

hmmm not an AP holder but would love to get one of these pins as the rates are sooooo much better and would love to stay at one of the hotels during our holiday in May.

Hi I am new here, and I have to say thank you for pointing out that this email was legit and to check my alt. email address. I check and sure enough just two days ago i recieved the special offer with pin! now keep in ming i am not an aph any more. i used to be, but i do go to universal each year and stay at rph. i am on a ton of their mailing lists. the pin worked fabulous and i received a rate of 125 plus tax per night. I booked 3 nights. I plan on staying elsewhere for the first 2 night just for change of pace. Any suggestion for good value but comfy beds and classy? Areas that are ok are near downtown Disney or Tampa is also in the running or Sarasota. We plan on renting a car for that part.

After reading about the pin being in different e-mails, I thought of checking
my old e-mail, havent used it in years and wah-la there was the e-mail
from Universal with the pin.( and about 2000 others) I did not even think that address was still vaild.
