New APH Discounted Rate-PIN Rate?!

Universal Orlando Resort <Backstage@lists.universalorlando.com>

Well I just got an email today from them and it wasn't one with any PIN codes. Geez louise.:confused3

Purseval, I've sent out a couple of emails about this and I'll let you know if I have any luck.

My hubby got an email with the pin info but I didn't.....

I got the email today from them about their limited time deals....

wierd..

Just wondering if I order An annual pass will I need to take a photo when I get to US? if so, how much time does that take? Thinking of buying one and hoping for a PIN for our November reservation.
Also has anyone done the flex-payoption? How does that work?

No picture needed... The annual pass looks like a ticket (it's paper)

I do the flex pay...they charge the monthly amount each month on my CC

Actually my wife mentioned something to me the other day about that, she thinks they are going back to pictures this year. I don't know where on the site she saw that, I'll ask her when I go home for lunch.

If you do have to get your picture taken they used to do it in Guest Services, didn't take long at all.

I received a PIN - but it was not sent to the email address registered to my AP but an old one I rarely use these days. Dates are no good for us, we go in July

Got my first email back from Universal and they don't seem to know anything about it. I will keep digging.

I don't know if this helps, but for May dates when I entered "Promotion" in the section marked "Promotion/Group Code" and "APH" in the Code section on the UO website reservation page, it came up with $169 for Garden View at PBR. You don't need an email or pin number to reserve. You just need to show your annual pass when you check in to get the rate. Good luck! :)

If anyone has a PIN that they aren't using please forward it to Purseval.1@gmail.com I don't want to use it but I would like to see the rate for our stay so I can let Customer Service know. They are claiming total ignorance on this promotion. The latest was on Friday when they asked for the email address of whoever sent out the promotion so they could check it out and get back to us. They never got back to us :(

Just got off the phone yet again. This time the CSR said that we should go to the Universal website and sign up to receive special offers in the mail. She claimed that the Pins were sent out to AP holders and Florida residents. We already have a post in here from someone who is neither and still received the email. Apparently they have been told to play dumb on this offer.

I think I am on every mailing list they have and I still haven't received it.

AP holder here too...no PIN.

Wonder if it's for peeps who haven't been there in awhile? After all, if you HAVE a res made, why throw you a discount?

but..what do i know...

That's what I am thinking too... but if this is through the annual pass department, how do they know if you have a res made? And you would think that most people with an annual pass have been there in the past year.

And there are some people who are lowering their reservations with this new code.

Anyone out there who got a code actually been there in the past six months?

It is a mystery.popcorn::

Are you a You First member? Did you win a superbowl ticket? I'm grasping for straws here!
