New AP w/ PP-does it need to be sep. MDE acct

I have the only MDE acct for self, DH. and 2DS. I do all the tix, res, FP, DVC, MM, ADRs... DH is the next up for new pass (will get in Dec 1st day of trip) whereas mine and sons are up in March. We will do his as Gold AP to get the MM feature as I think it wwould be about the same difference($170) as the cost of 1x MM.

So does he HAVE to set up a new, seperate MDE acct for us to download the pics? He is not registered anywhere else with disney, even our passes are all through the one acct. I dont like him messing about with all that info. I am afraid what he might accidently do like delete FP or ADR's.

I don't know why he would need a separate account. Specifically why do you think this all of the sudden?

Because the posts that I have read seem to be people with their own separate MDE accts that are friends and family with the settings being set for the others in their group being allowed to view and download pix.

I am trying to figure out how we can download thru my MDE acct, because its the only one we all have and use.

Gotcha. That's an interesting combination. It seems that as long as there is one AP with the free download entitlement in your account that it should work. It's the same email address, etc for everyone in your account. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make him a separate account just in case since no one seems to have experience with this. Calling and asking a CM is an option, but we all know how unreliable that can be. Maybe call a few times and see if you get the same answer repeatedly?
