While planning for your trip is half the fun, once you get there, try not to get too caught up in sticking with your plans. These are wise words.

There's loads of tips on here to discover. I would say some simple ones:

Make sure you take advantage of the FastPass tickets.

Make sure your feet are comfortable (such as fresh socks, comfortable shoes etc - plenty of advice on here for that kind of thing).

One thing we did by accident that turned out to be invaluable: We got little refillable tin bottles from buying a Coca-Cola at the American Idol experience. Long story short: We used it to regularly refill from the water fountains to keep in our bag so we always had some water available.

For the first trip - I would make sure I get to the Magic Kingdom on Day1. See the opening ceremony and then go into Mickey's Phillarmagic... Just my opinion though.

Above all... as per the above... sit back, relax and enjoy.
