BWI Inn Keeper's Lounge stole our hearts 6 years ago when we first stayed there. The staff there has always taken very good care of us when we visit. One of my biggest complaints before this last trip wasn't the service because they are the best but the food options mostly during the wine and cheese hour. Well, I could have kicked my own self when we stayed there last week. We checked in on Sunday to Eggs Benedict cooked in lounge. Came back from the parks for wine and cheese and there were chicken tacos. Every night, Estenfan, who's a chef at Flying Fish, would cook up some of the most amazing food. Chicken Waffles, Pork Belly, meatballs and mashed potatoes and pumpkin risotto. Seems like all the deluxe resorts club levels were getting or have gotten upgrades! I'm very excited to see what other new and exciting things are in store for us!!!

That would be really exciting actually. Right now, they currently don't have the IPO planning available, but maybe they are putting the $$ towards enhancing the actual CL experience while you are there?

We haven't done CL in over 2 years but are staying Poly CL this summer. I'm excited. :)

My husband and I were at the BWI in December and loved the new offerings. It is our favorite club level to stay and have to agree with you about the cast there. We are leaving Saturday for a family trip and staying at the Beach Club, no room at the Inn, and I know I will be missing Estefan and his wonderful appetizers. He was so wonderful.

Yep, better late than never! The Poly and BC both had vastly improved Club Level offerings when we visited in December.

Oh good to hear. We stayed at Beach Club last June and we were happy with the lounge. Trying to decide between BW, Beach or Sugarloaf for our tenth.

I was already excited about our first ever club level stay - this makes me even happier.

We are getting ready to book Club Level for next January and are very disappointed to hear that they are no longer offering the IPO advanced planning. It seems to me like this is a major reason of booking Club Level. The concierge was unable to help us while staying at the hotel and in my opinion, useless. It was great to be able to have someone else book your dinning reservations or be able to get in touch with someone quickly on the phone before your trip with a question. Any reasoning behind why they are no longer offering this service?

My thought is very few bothered to use them for pre-trip planning. They are still there to help when you arrive. So you are saying the CL concierge staff was unable to help you on past stays? That seems quite strange. I've had them help me book a tour, seen them find FP for folks, all sorts of things.

I wonder if you were there the same time as me (Marathon weekend?) or if he just does the same recipes in rotation--because that's what he cooked while we were there too. It was wonderful!

OH this sounds lovely as I'm sitting here debating whether to stay at the Beach Club, CL, or keep our current reservation at BWI (non CL).

I wholeheartedly agree--the food upgrades are wonderful! Just a small FYI as well-- even though cereal isn't out in the mornings, it is available on asking. We split our stay between Boardwalk & Polynesian, so I may have my lounges mixed up, but I believe the wine & beer were left out during the dessert hours. I also saw a bottle of bourbon! The Poly lounge has added shrimp &/or chicken lettuce wraps during the "light snacks" time, which made for a nice little lunch. I'm loving these upgrades!

Interesting. The last time I tried staying club level (AKL) it was difficult because the lounge was tiny compared to all the people who wanted to be in it, and it was too long a walk to take things back to the room. I don't suppose they're making the lounges any bigger?

Thanks for posting. We are booked Poly CL in September and considering BWI CL for a short trip in December. BWI CL seems to always get positive reviews, but even more so lately as it seems changes are being made for the better :).
