Hello to all! :wave2: I recently joined and find that these boards are extremely helpful. I really like the trip reports and family board. I'm from the metro Detroit area and have a vacation booked to WDW this December with my mother and 2 kids. Were staying at CSR this time. My dd will be 11 mths at the time of our trip and this will be her first visit. This will be my 5th visit. We are all very excited and counting down the days!

Hi there pitterpint23!

We are arriving 12/8 in the afternoon and plan on checking into our hotel, grabbing a bite to eat (we didn't plan a reservation for that evening, we'll just grab something at hotel) and checking out some of the Christmas décor at some of the other resorts. I definitely want to see GF, WL, AKL, Contemp, BWI, BC and YC decorations. Then Mon, 12/9 we plan on AK (my mother & I went over which rides & attractions we MUST see/ride in advance), 12/10 MK- all area's except Fantasyland. Then MVMCP that evening. 12/11 Sleep in, character breakfast at Chef Mickey's, & pool day at our hotel. 12/12 MK again, this time devoting most of the day to Fantasyland. 12/13 DD-lots of shopping & reservation at TREX. 12/14 checkout, breakfast & head to airport on ME.

We have various dining reservations throughout the week for dinner mainly. We decided to keep breakfast open except for Wed. when we do our character breakfast so we could be flexible with kids during morning and getting to parks.

Our mistake in planning is doing MK & MVMCP in one day. I wish we would have planned MVMCP the evening of a pool day. Oh well, I'm bringing my double stroller down with us and the kids can comfortably nap in it when need be. We are also doing the magic bands and I'm getting late in planning this but I have to do FP+ reservations online still.

Decided no Epcot, DHS this time around. Thought it would be too much for the lo's.

How about you? How did you plan your trip?

Welcome! There is so much information on the dis to help you plan but it looks like you have already given it some thought.

MVMCP day you can always go late to the park or go home and take a nap before the party starts.

I have gone to the parks with 4 little ones more than once, naps are not ever a bad idea :thumbsup2
