New and confused

Hi, I just joined today and I am very confused.
I have a few questions If you could please answer them

How do you change your signature?
How do you put pictures you find as avatars or put them in your sig?

For help with your "how do I?" questions, start on the Technical Support forum. We have a Frequently Asked Questions thread there that probably contains most of the information you're looking for. You can also look through the titles of recent threads there to see if someone's recently asked the same question. And if you don't see the answers that way, you can post your specific question and someone will lend a hand.

Hi, thank you very much! I have another question, I tried to post on another board, but it wouldn't let me. Any idea why? I looked in the FAQ, but it didn't answer my question, thanks!!

Which board were you trying to post on, and what happened- did you get any error messages?

I figured out how to fix it, all I had to do was click on a link I got in an e-mail.
