Hello, DIsboards.

I'm new and it's not even a week of my time in the forum! I'm going with my partner this winter to Disney and I'm incredibly excited!

I have a question I would like some of the more experienced members to answer: Which one would you recommend...Disney Florists or Gifts of a Lifetime?

I've seen a lot of positive feedback from Gifts of a Lifetime, but I've heard some negativity on it too. I'm planning to do an In-Room decoration for my partner, but I'm more worried if it'll be worth it or not, I've heard a lot of people saying: "It was okay..." but I'd like to know if it's just as exciting as In-Room Reservations or if it's a bit more bland? The main reason I'm not opting for the Florists In-Room Reservation it's because it doesn't allow you to 'customize' your order and I think that for the price they charge...it's really a disappointment. A reason why I'm deciding to go with Gifts of a Lifetime.

We won't be doing the photograph option, only an In-Room decoration, and I would like to know the peoples opinion and suggestions. Thanks!

I can't compare the two, but can only tell you that I was very happy (and surprised!) with the Disney in-room celebration package (no flowers) that my DH arranged for my birthday last May.

It was a fun package, and he did have it customized so it suited my style and taste. A very special touch!!

Call them both for details, and I'm sure you can find the best one for you and your partner.

Really? Aww, that's sweet! Just hearing people talking about their own celebrations gets me so excited! Thank you for the suggestions! I've contacted both the Florist and Gifts of a Lifetime and I think....I might go with Gifts of a Lifetime, but I am also tempted in ordering the stocking they're selling in Disney florists!

I'm also interest in a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery, how much of a walking is it from Internal Drive in Epcot to the bakery? We will probably be going by foot from there to the bakery...we're staying in the All Star Movies and since (I think) they don't ship the cake there, we'll be picking it up and taking it back with us. Talk about a crazy walk, huh?
