If you would like to join this new swap please take a look at the dates that are taken first. If your dates are still available either send me a PM or post to this thread. Please include dates of stay as well as the resort you will be staying at.
The home resort for this swap is the All Star MUSIC . This swap will be a free swap due to the new rules, thanks to all of the original swappers!!
Unless you make specific arrangements with the swapper before and/or after you, it is YOUR (borrow a luggage cart if need be!) responsibility to return the fridge to the MUSIC bell desk (not the registration desk). NEVER leave the fridge in your room at the end of your stay as it will end up in Mousekeeping inventory or the mousekeeper will assume it was left behind (even when labeled for the next swapper) and will take it home!! Each swapper will need to bring some packaging tape to repackage the fridge after each use.
Always clearly/securely label the box with the next swappers information even if swapping in person. The info should include first/last name of reservation, check-in date, Resort name and cell phone number if available. Please be sure to tape this info to the box in a few places. When the fridge is checked in at bell services you also need to be sure to get the confirmation ticket that says you have checked it there, this should be of great help if the fridge goes missing.
*Please defrost and clean out the fridge when you are done.
*NEVER tip the fridge over or lay it down as it will RUIN the compressor = won't work!!
*The success of this swap depends on each one of us doing our part to keep it running smoothly. If you are arriving in less than 2 weeks and don't know who you are swapping to/from, contact me immediately. Please take this swap seriously as others are depending on being able to use the fridge for their stay.
* I can not and will not be responsible for lost/stolen/damaged fridge. We hope for honest, responsible swappers but I can not guarentee it.
* If you require cast member assistance to get the fridge to/from your room, please remember to tip them! They are doing us a huge favor by storing the fridge for us.
* If you need to get the fridge from the MUSIC resort to the Sports or Movies and do not have a car, you can borrow a rolling luggage cart to transport the fridge. All 3 of the All Star Resorts are linked with sidewalks/streets for easy navigating.
* When asking for the fridge at the bell desk, be persistent if they "can't" find it. Don't panic if it's not there as occasionally it will magically appear in your room without asking for it. You also have the right to LOOK for yourself in the storage room if you feel the CM is not looking sufficiently.*Communication is the key to a successful swap. Please don't wait until you have been home for 2 weeks to let me know that you couldn't find the fridge. Time is precious and the longer it is missing the harder it will be to find.
