Anyone have any speculation on which airline this is going to be? http://www.kare11.com/news/article/964395/391/New-airline-to-fly-out-of-Minneapolis-airport-- MINNEAPOLIS - If competition is a good thing, then life is about to get better for those who fly out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) announced Monday that a new airline will soon be scheduling flights in and out of the Twin Cities. While not disclosing the name of the carrier, the MAC said it is an established airline that flies internationally but will serve only domestic routes from MSP at this time. Negotiations to land a deal with the carrier have been years in the making, according to MAC spokesman Patrick Hogan. "It's part of our overall effort to bring in more competition," Hogan said. He said the new carrier will fly daily from MSP out of the Humphrey Terminal. The name of the airline and other details will be announced on Wednesday.
