new Adventures by Disney Vacations

Does anyone have any info on the new Adventures by Disney vacations? I received a brochure in the mail and checked out their site and found it to be pretty cool. I would love to hear from anyone who has taken one of these vacations...They are offering family vacations to Europe, Hawaii, Wyoming, Costa Rica, and a few other places.

They did a test run of this service a while back & the reviews were mostly positive (which, I assume, has something to do with why they continue to do this) but I haven't heard much about it since they rolled these vacations out.

I'll be going on the Europe (London & Paris) trip May 18-28, including a weekend at DL Paris added on my own. I don't think any of the trips have had departures yet (except those tests Sarangel mentioned). So far, it's very Disney. When I booked, they even asked my height, to be sure they'd get me the correct size bicycle for when we ride through the gardens of Versailles. I have called to ask a few questions and they have been very helpful. This will be my first trip off the NA continent and it makes me feel very safe to be going with Disney, since I'm traveling as a single.

Thank you both for replying. We are interested in bringing our family of six on the Europe trip as well, so I would love to hear more from you about what details you may have already on hotels, excursions, etc...if you'd be willing to share. It will be our first trip to Europe as well and I agree with you: what better way to travel than with Disney??!! I can provide you with my email address, just let me know.

Oh, sure! I'll share whatever I can. If you have specfic questions, let me know. Hotel for London is the Chancery Court Hotel and in Paris it's the Westin Paris. They both look very nice from their websites. If you haven't already seen it on the Adventures by Disney website, there's a fairly detailed listing of day-by-day activities in pdf format on each trip. Just look along the right of the screen for the intinerary info. The trip seems to hit all the major sites in both cities. They even booked my airfare for me (at a rate equal to the best I had found online, without them knowing I'd already looked). All the CM's I talk to keep telling me to call back after my trip, because they want to know what it's like. They're all so excited for me and say they wish they were going, too!

I've received only my basic booking confirmation so far. I'm supposed to recieve a backpack, with other information more specific to the trip, around 45 days out or something like that. Which means, I should be receiving it very soon.
