Hi everyone! Hello new friends and "old" friends! Welcome to my Pre-Trip Report for my February 2012 solo trip to Walt Disney World!!

So why the "Ten" in the title? Well, today as I was making notes, I discovered 2 kinda cool coincidences:

1) This will be my 10th trip to WDW.

2) My birthday, the reason for this trip, is on the 10th!

Cool coincidences, huh?! I thought so too!! So as they say, Let's Get On With The Show!

The lone traveler for this trip is me, Katie. I'm a sales and marketing assistant sales manager, working with my parents at the company my grandpa started. Here I am below:

I'm the gal in the pink shirt, second from the right. This was my brother, his friend, my sister and I from our July 2011 road trip to Orlando. No Disney that trip but have no fear! A new trip is here!

This year, I am turning the big 3-0 (yikes!!! kinda scary to even type that out!! ) As a present to myself, I am going to spend 3 1/2 fun filled days in where else? Disney World!!

So come aboard...I hope to regale you with tales of all my neurotic planning. I FINALLY picked a resort, after much debate with myself so that's coming up next.

Question: What's better than actually taking a Disney trip?

Answer: Shopping for one!! (Any men in the audience, here's where you hang your heads and shake them, exasperated.)

Like many other DISers, who I won't name (but her user name rhymes with SigdWoutMisDom) I love me some Vera Bradley bags. They're durable, they last forever, and gosh darn it, they're cute. (Men, you've been warned. "Cute" is a staple of this PTR.)

I follow VB on Facebook and the other day, they announced a new Traveler Bag. Mama likee. Mama must have. So now it's just to decide the pattern. I really like this one, as I have a few other luggage pieces and they could all match. Isn't that precious?

Here it is, both the inside and outside. They say that it's also carry on size so it would be GREAT for shorter weekend trips or say, to pack extra souvenirs that might not have made it into your other bags. Ahem. Not that that ever happens.

Thoughts?? Isn't it cute?! (There's that "cute" that I promised you!!)

I promise we'll get to the important stuff of where I'm staying, what I'm buying and most importantly, what I'll be eating.

Hi MeMom! Glad you ventured over here...I bet you're just wiped out from all your campers! I did read about your fall today. I was sorry to hear about that.

And yes.....we did have Disney on this trip. How did you know that?! Good grief, where is my mind?!?! I think to remedy that, I'll need to have an update with pics of our amazing O'Hana meal. But don't worry, I didn't take any pictures of you so you're safe.

Hello and welcome!! I'm excited to go and report back. I'm a tiny bit nervous about going solo but I know once I get there I'll have a great time.
