Every resort gives a discount, however some room types can be excluded, depending on the discount. Usually those are suites and 3 bedroom grand villas. My favorite resort on property is the Beach Club. I love it and recommend it to everyone!

PS: you can book club level with the CM discount. We are staying at the Yacht Club in a CL room for 60% off plus the dining plan next week...

Doc, the CM discounts really fluctuate based on resort capacity and other factors, so it's difficult to say which resorts give the best CM doscounts during that time. CM discount amounts, resort discount availability etc change daily. It's possible discounts will be available at BLT - it just depends on the factors I previously mentioned.

I would go ahead and get a 2 bedroom if it's available. At BLT, they usually have a king in one bedroom, 2 queens in the other, and a pull out queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair. It sleeps 9. That way, you're guaranteed to be together since 2 one bedrooms can be requested adjoining, but it's not guaranteed.

For September, the best discount available for the friends and family discount is 40%. more than likely, they will release a 50% discount plus the ability to add either a quick service or plus dining plan closer to September.

I did not think Friends and Family was ever more than 40%. I thought the larger discounts were for use by the actual Cast Member.

It just depends what's available. We tried booking BLT and Contemporary just this week for our fall trip, but all they had with the CM discount was concierge at CR...too rich for my blood, even with the discount!
So we are staying at the GF. This is probably the only way I will ever afford to stay there, lol. We are sharing the room with our CM friend so we get 50% off.
