Okay, I've been trying to read up on this Fastpass thing and I think it's gonna be great, but I have a technical question. My DH and two DDs all love the rides, but for some reason I was born without great equilibrium and don't do most rides, so I sit and wait for the most part. We are only going to MGM this time around because we've done Disney so much, and combining it with US and IOA. My girls will definitely be in the Tower of Terror run when the rope drops and hopefully their dad's bad knees can catch up with them in line. Sooooo, while they are in the Tower of Terror, can I take their tickets and go get Fastpasses for them for the R&R Coaster, or do they have to wait until they come out of Tower of Terror to get their Fastpass for that (if there's a long line, obviously).
Speaking of his bad knees, I have been trying to talk him into letting us get him a wheelchair but he won't hear of it. Male pride, I guess. He's had three surgeries on one, and one on the other, and now has severe degenerative arthritis in both. He's been getting cortisone and Synvisc injections (at $600 a pop!) to try to hold off on knee replacements, so he is in pain much of the time and has trouble walking a lot. At 47 years old. I begged and pleaded, but he says he will have plenty of opportunities to sit down and rest, so it won't be that bad. I beg to differ.
