We are planning a trip for my dd's 5th birthday in March. Since its her birthday and the ap8 rates are pretty good we are thinking of staying at the DLH. Our tentative dates are March 6-10. How fast do the rooms usually book up with the ap8 rate? Is there any fees for canceling a reservation there in case our dates change? Any advice on how and when to book would be greaty appreciated. TIA!!!

You will pay the first night's fee when you book. The rest is due at the end of your stay.

I think you can cancel with no penalty (what you paid is refunded) 5 full days away from your stay. I think.

Know what you have seen as the rate for your stay, call, ask for the AP8 rate. When I've called they've asked me what rate I saw, I tell them, and they confirm. Id ont'know why they do this; they don't for everyone, but it is what it has been I guess.

It's simple.

You'll have access to all Magical Mornings that happen during your stay, including the day of check in if you get there early enough (we checked in at something like 6:30 am, left our bags with the bell services people, just to get to the MM on that day) and the day of check out. If you have a car you'll be allowed to park there until midnight of the check out day.

There's also a Resort Fee of $12 plus 15% tax EACH NIGHT of your stay, and that covers a newspaper on weekdays, parking, plug-in internet (though each of the two rooms we've stayed at at PPH we've been able to connect to their public wi-fi, since wi-fi waves don't know what walls and doors and ceilings are, LOL). The resort fee is paid when you leave.

That should give you a start. :)

Hey there, we're in the same neck of the woods! *wave*

You got some great advice from the always helpful bumbershoot. :lovestruc Don't think there's really an answer to "how fast will the rooms book up" unless you're a CM with booking expierience and could offer an edducated guess at best. I'd go ahead and just book now and you can always cancel up to 5 days before to get the full refund. They could always raise the prices, but if they lower them, you'd have a great chance of getting the price adjusted.

Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions!
