(Never Mind) Anyone been to Le Cellier this week?

My friend is at Le Cellier this week and text me to say when she went there to eat she was told since she's on the dining plan she could choose from a limited menuWhat??
She has not been to WDW for many years, so I'm hoping there is a misunderstanding.
Is anyone else there to verify this? If so could you let me know what the limited menu includes? The filet?

Perhaps she is referring to the Chef's Favorites menu. It's a separate printed paper one they will provide in addition to the regular menu. No filllet on it, but you can choose an appetizer, entree, dessert, and beverage for 1TS credit (or a flat rate if paying OOP) and get the appetizer even if you are not on the Deluxe Dining Plan. The "normal" DDP does not include an appetizer, so ordering off this menu is a way to get one. IIRC there are only four entree choices on it, none of them the high priced steaks.

You are NOT limited to ordering from that menu on the dining plan though, it's just an option and you'd get that extra item, the appetizer. You can order from their regular menu and get just entree (fillet of course), dessert, and beverage.
