I found the list of possible options for ADR's but don't know what to do and what not to do - family of six - MUST do hoop dee doo and also eat in the castle with Cinderella - otherwise, don't know what to do or not to do. Would love to try new things - especially if we get free dining plan.

Ok, I'll just give you an idea of how I plan my trip. Everyone has a different way of doing things. First I decide what park I want to go to on what day. I do this by using the unofficial guide to walt disneyworld, both the book and the website called touringplans.com. There is a charge to use the website, but if you buy the 2009 book, you can use the website for free and they list the preferred parks for each day of the year and the parks they think you should avoid, based on how crowded they think each will be. We have used this for the last 17 trips and been satisfied.
Then I make a little chart across a page, list each park down the left hand side and each day across the top and put the info about what park to go to in for each day and go ahead and choose a park for each day. If he recommends more than one park, you can choose based on where you want to go and what works for your family.
I fill in the hours, you can get these from the disney website. I always check both touringplans.com and the disney site several times prior to our trip because hours and park info can change.
Once I have hours and extra magic hour info on my chart then I kinda know where I will be each day so I can start thinking about where I will eat.
Go to Deb Willis site, allearsnt to look under dining. She has every restaurant listed by park and resort with the menus and prices and you can really think about where you might enjoy eating and work it in to your schedule. Feel free to schedule a lunch at a monorail resort(Poly) if you are at the MK for a nice break in the day and the heat.
Always ask us for help. We all love to give advice.:) Once you are ready, you just call 1-407-wdisney and give the cast member each restaurant and the time you want and how many people and they will tell you what the times are that they have close to that and you take one and they book it and give you a confirmation #. If you are staying on property, you can book 90 from your check in date, for up to 10 days. If you are staying off property, you can call at 90 days, but must call back each day to book each day. Hope this helps.
