My husband and I go to Disney roughly once a year. We never really used FastPass much, except for the rides that we didn't ride together. He likes Star Tours and Soarin', simluators make me sick, so we would get 2 FastPasses and just go during that time, and he'd take both of them and ride.
Most everything else, we'd wait for. We're at Disney, people-watching is part of the game for us (I bet it'd be different if we had kids!), so we don't mind waiting 60-90 minutes, chatting, people-watching, enjoying each others' company...
...I am curious to see how FastPass+ works, however! NOT having been huge FastPass users, I can only see advantages! But I can also see the other side, if you have a large family, or young children, and waiting just isn't an option, 3 FastPasses per day seems so stingy! But for us, I'm excited.
Mostly what I'm reading are hardcore FastPass users, so I guess I just wanted to see if anyone else who never used the legacy FastPass system much found any benefits/drawbacks to the new system?
