Never been to IoA, can you help me understand the size?

Hi Universal experts. We are going to IoA in December for the day and cannot get a sense of the size of the park from the map. Can you tell me how it compares to Disney Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom in terms of walking? We're wondering if we should walk all the way around, or do a U since we aren't doing Harry Potter or Jurassic Park rides.

I'm sure it's great. We're just thinking of walking distance and making priorities.

It'd be more efficient to do the loop, unless you're doing rerides as you retrace the U. The theming through Jurassic Park is also great. Also if you plan to hit the other 2 water rides, note that they will get you legit soaked - plan accordingly.

I agree. Just take the loop even if you don't ride anything. The theming is really cool. I know it's about the same size as MK but it didn't feel like it was quite as much walking to me. Maybe since I was so wrapped up in all the sights.

It’s not that big. You can easily see it all in a day.
