Hi there - My husband and I are WDW vets, but we've never been to Disneyland. Well, we're going in May! We're extending a business thing into a trip. We want to do more than Disneyland, as I understand we could probably see it all in 2-3 days. We need to stay in a cheap, yet clean and decent place...near Disneyland of course. $100 or less a night. This will not be our only vacation this year and we won't be in the room AT ALL...just to sleep. When we go to WDW, we like Deluxe resorts, but we won't be picky this time. I've heard good things about HoJo on Harbour.

We want to do some LA things, San Diego Zoo, eat at nice restaurants and go to Disneyland and CA Adventure.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Like - best ticket price, restaurant suggestions, other things to do in the area.

Thank you - I know this is a "tall order."

If you do not need suite style I would say go with the HOJOs. You can get a very good rate on mousesavers.com. (sometimes in the $50's) We have been there twice. I think the most I spent was $89 per night.

We have also stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites on Harbor (Parlor suite room), Park Inn international (standard room), and Best Western Park Inn and Suites (standard room). I would stay at all of them again (in the order I listed).

I hope this helps.
