Just wanted to share my PS's with everyone too see if we made the right choices :goodvibes . I will be going with DW and DD4.
here are my PS's....we are on the dining plan also

Monday
1. Cinderella Breakfast (CRT?)
2. Crystal Palace -dinner

Tuesday
1. Ohana's - Dinner

Wed.
1. Mamma Melrose's (not the Fantasmic Package, just dinner)

Thursday
1. Concourse Steak House - dinner

Friday (LAST DAY)
1. 1900 Park Fare, Gala Feast

we are going to choose our counter service meals as we go through the park, unless you guys have some "MUST DO'S" in the counter service area.

Soo....how does it look?????

Looks good. Heres something to consider.....since it looks like you're doing one sit-down a day and the rest counter service, I'd think about making those sit-down meals for lunch instead. With the exception of 1900 PF and CRT your meals arent time critical and the lunch menus are always cheaper than dinner menus, while counter service prices are the same.

Do Cosmic Ray's for counter service in Magic Kingdom! :cheer2: It's one of the largest fast food restaurants in the World! And it has lots of different choices (I love the chicken caesar salad!) Cosmic Rays is a "must-do" for us!!! :teeth:

Also, we like Backlot Express in MGM for counter service. Very Yummy Sandwiches! A nice break from burgers and fries... princess:

:cool1:

A couple of counter service restaurants that I like are Flame Tree BBQ in AK, Earl of Sandwich DTD and Caseys in the MK.

:cool1: - we are on the MYW plus dining....I dont have to worry about the price difference from lunch and Dinner

infact....just want to be sure to get my moneys worth.....prefer to diners

Just curious... are you visiting Epcot? Didn't see any WS restaurants on your list. Most of my fav places are in WS! :teeth:

I have done CP (breakfast) and 'Ohana (dinner). Both were nice, glad I ate there once but haven't returned yet. Too many others to try. Actually in 3 trips we have only done repeat meals at ESPN and that is more for convienence.

I have done quite a few different character meals and IMHO they are over rated. My kids seem to enjoy the character interaction in the parks more but by all means with a four year old I think they are good.

My kids around that age also enjoyed: Sci-fi, San Angel Inn, Garden Grill and Cape May (breakfast).

Have a fun trip. :)

yeah, we are doing Epcot, but with the PLUS DINING,it doesn't have a whole lot of options to chose from in EPCOT. (I figure it is because most of the major places to eat, are not owned by Disney) So, that day we are going to do OHANA'S.
:goodvibes

Makes sense then, maybe you can hit one of the WS counter services for a taste of another country. :flower:

Sci Fi is great for lunch if you want a yummy burger and fries while sitting in a convertible watching cheesy old sci fi movies! It's a new "must do" for us! Our kids love it! Backlot express is also good, but I think the burgers at Sci Fi are bigger and better. DD will have a blast at Ohana, good polynesian food, remember you can get refills on all of the yummy appetizers they bring out before the meats start to come around. When our DD's were really small, the first time we ate there, they had lo mein instead of fried rice. I think that my girls probably ate their weight in noodles that time, maybe that's why they now serve rice, hmmmmmmmmmmmm...............................

My only advice about counter service is to eat on the early side of lunch when it is less crowded. We usually get an early start to the parks so we are hungry early.

We like Columbia Harbour House in MK, Tusker House in AK, Kringla Bakeri in Norway at EPCOT, and Pizza Planet at MGM. Pizza Planet is not stellar BUT my kids love Toy Story, the pizza deals are pretty good and sitting outside is really fun.

Sounds like you have a plan and in my eyes that is a very good idea.

Enjoy!

It makes me hungry!!

Looks good. Many of our favorites are on your list.

Our favorite counter service, is Tusker House, at AK. We also enjoy the fish and chips, at Epcot (nex to Rose and Crown)

One hint at CRT. If the stuffed french toast is on the soggy side, (it can be at times) order it with the fruit on the side. They will bring it out piping hot, and fresh. We love CRT, and it is a must do!!

You made some good choices -Ohana's is awesome! We also love CRT and CP! We also liked Sci Fi for lunch and my kids love that place.

Tangerine Cafe is excellent for counter service in Epcot. It is fun to go and try tastes of the different countries.

Ohana's is great your DD will love it. For counter service Columbia Harbor House is my favorite, the tuna sandwich and clam chowder are great. We also always hit Caseys in MK for hot dogs. Concourse is also a staple for us, just make sure you ask not to sit too close to chef mickeys or your meal can be loud and your DD distracted. Crystal Palace was not one of my favorites, but I'm not into buffets. Enjoy!!

Are you paying for one of these "out-of-pocket"? You have 6 sitdowns & are staying 5 nights.
