DH has a business trip and asked if we wanted to go end of Sept. I just swore after our end of Jan. trip I would never have the kids miss school again! It was very stressful, our middle schooler was fine but the two younger ones had a time of it. Of course I'm thinking of breaking the rule, it's oldest's last year of middle school -- they would miss two days and not much goes on end of Sept. in the way of exams and testing (I work in the school system). Do you think a Thurs-Sun trip would be worthwhile to see both parks. We've never been, and our last Disney trip the two oldest seemed to want more in the way of thrill rides finally! My scaredy cats really got into TOT and RNR. My youngest is still pretty tame in her ride selection. It will most likely be just me and the kids while DH has meetings. Will it be safe for DD to wait while we do the thrill rides. I feel comfortable with her waiting at Disney because we are so familiar with the ride layouts. Thanks for your input.

That's plenty of time to see the parks. In late Sept, crowds are small, and wait times are low (15-20 mins max for most attractions). Also, child swap is an available option for non-riders...
