hi my family and i have never been to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure before. we are going for 2 days april 29th & 30th. i see they have different ways of buying tickets we would like to go to both pack what would be the best way to buy tickets. can you plz tell me the do's and dont's. thanks everyone...

Dawn! Since you've never been, I would suggest checking out the website to get an idea of the park layouts and what attractions are available at each park. You might want to check out YouTube for ride videos to get a feel for a particular attraction.

Tickets are generally cheaper online than at the gate and there are some discounted tickets out there. You might want to check your local AAA office and Costco club to see if they are selling the discounted tickets. I believe some Costco clubs were selling at three day ticket at a pretty good price. If you can't find anything and decide to buy online direct from Universal, you might want to choose the "print at home" option so you can go right to the gate w/o having to stand in line.
