scubasteve said:i go to cedar point once a year. if your use to those kind of rides then its hard to feel exited about wdw rides. but when you go to wdw its not just a ride with a tent over. it's a theamed ride that has more to see. basically i take wdw rides for what they are seeing your not really in a thrill park. your in a resort park just my 2 cents.

i would maybe go tower of terror again but once not like get off n go rite bak on 5 more times i wouldnt b able 2 handle that .. i liked it when i was in the back but the 2nd time later on when i went on it i was put in the front that was the worst.. its sooooo much scarier in the front escpecially when ur on the end and really have nothint to hold on to. i didnt like that
splash mt was ok i didnt like the big drop part that was 2 much for me .. i screamed on the little dropps... n majorly screamed on the big one.... it was ok but i wouldnt go on it again unless im like super hott or drugged up on meds hahaha
and omg space mt. was the worst.. it went wayyy to fast and i just plan old dont like roller coasters. which i didnt know that it was.. those turns at the end where horrible i litterally think i passed out on it.. when i got off i couldnt breathe i was sooooooo dizzy 1 of the ladys who worked there came over 2 me and asked if i was ok then got me a drink of water.. i felt sooo sick when the ride stopped to get off ... it took about half hr til i started being ok again. never never never again will i do that ride..

I'm not a roller coaster person, and I love Cedar Point. Although I do see what your saying. Cedar Point pours all of their money into thrill rides and Roller Coasters, (I think its a new ride every year, a new Roller Coaster every two), and not into the overall experiance like Disney does.Briarprincess said:Cedar Point is in Ohio. It is considered the Roller Coaster Capital of the world. Until Kingda Ka opened at Great Adventure, they had the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. In all, they have 16 roller coasters (the most in the world) and are big on thrill rides (i.e. MaxAir). I've been there twice, and Disney 20 times.
Needless to say, when you go to Disney as often as I do, you get spoiled. Cedar Point was fun (just went last week), but no where near as good as Disney. They are two totally seperate parks. Disney is a theme park while Cedar Point is an amusement park. You don't go to Cedar Point looking for characters (other than Snoopy) just like you don't go to Disney looking for "out of this world" thrill rides. If you can't handle Space Mountain, you won't do much at all in Cedar Point. (I say stay off of Disaster Transport at Cedar Point... it was the worst ride I've ever been on. They seemed to try so hard for a ride that failed. And I'm a huge roller coaster gal.)
Any who, all in all, if you didn't like those rides, it's ok, there's a lot more that Disney has to offer. Just make sure that if you ever plan on going to Cedar Point, be up to doing Roller Coasters that make people come from around the world to do just once...
