Does anyone play netwinner? I have been playing for a while and I have a ton of points. I went to redeem them and there is nothing but contest entries. There is even one to win 100,000 points but for what? There is nothing to spend your points on. I even cashed out for 50.00 to be added to my ecount card 6 months ago and I still have not received the money.
Does anyone know what is going on with netwinner?

In May they cancelled everyone's cashouts and went to a contest entry redemption only. You should have double the points back into your account. People are really angry about it.

So I can never cash out for anything other than entries? So you are supposed to cash out points to try and win more points to try and win other points? What's the point? I guess I am done with netwinner.
Thanks for the reply, though.

That's pretty much been the consensus(sp?) about Netwinner. You were supposed to have gotten an email, but I never did either.

And even worse- is those of us who had all ready redeemed got our "prizes" taken away from us - meaning they wiped them off our accounts and they doubled our points and put them back in our accounts.

So not right.

I worked for Barnes and Noble gift cards and cashed in for them (to the tune of $375.00) and now I have double the points. Whooppee.

I had just cashed out (well 6 moths ago) for 50.00 to be added to my ecount card. I won (and through referrals) another 200,000 points during that 6 months. Now since they reversed it I now have over 300,000 points. For what? Maybe they will add the other gift crds once in a while..one can hope.

Frankly, I'd move on - I've given up hope for NW.

Well would be nice but I won't hold my breath.

If you're unhappy with what happened at NetWinner, you're not alone -- the BBB issued a special alert today saying they received 180 NW complaints from people in 40 states and Canada.

You can read the alert at the BBB of Charlotte's website: http://charlotte.bbb.org

If you haven't filed your complaint yet, there's a link on the site to submit it there.

Thanks. I filed a complaint, not because I want, or even care anymore, about the money, but because numbers matter and I want to add one more person to that list at the BBB.

Thanks for the link to the BBB. Interestingly enough, I still have a $50 ecount card pending in my account. I do not expect to get it, but I also didn't get double points put back into my account. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Same for me.

I got a response back from the BBB today and Netwinner's so called excuse for not paying me....very disappointing...they are claiming I had multiple windows open and cited two examples where I won twice on two different sites.

One was a 250 win which was shown in my messages but the other was a 25 point win which of course was not documented anywhere (except apparently in their research) and the other example was a 25 point win and another small win ...neither of which I could look back to check on.

I NEVER had more than one site going but I am not surprised by their claims.

Neither am I. That seems to be their fallback excuse for everyone that filed with the BBB. I never had more than 1 session open. But, when their site would freeze up or kick me off I would always get an error message saying I had 2 sessions open. I'm sure that is exactly what happened to you and their "research" is a crock of bs.

Well, I checked the status of my $50 ecount card the other day and it is now "EXPIRED." Never got double points back, either, to make up for them reneging on my award. Personally, I hope Netwinner goes under. It is just not an honest site.

I got a second response back the other day saying I might have done it inadvertently --- MAKES NO SENSE -- because if you are just playing on one game you obviously can't win on two -- let me see if I can find the response....

""... we realize your frustration and also realize that players like yourself may have unknowingly had multiple windows open. There is not any way possible to win at the same time on two different sites without multiple windows open.

You are not required to track every point by the minute or second to play the game. What you are responsible for as a player is to be familiar with the Terms of Service before playing the games. With multiple instances of multiple windows open and multiple wins on different sites at the same time you were awarded points that were won in non-compliance. We do realize this could have been unknowingly and are certainly not saying that it was intentional--there is not anyway for us to determine that. Since we cannot determine if a player knew they had multiple windows open, we have to treat all cases the same.

I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for having played Netwinner in the past.""

It just raised my blood pressure to read it - and then of course I am suppose to say this is resolved -- I replied back that I in no way accept this answer but I am done arguing with them.

SO IRRITATING.

Wow guys! I'm so sorry so many of you got burned by netwinner. I'm really thankful I never put too much time into it. I would be really pissed as well if I had spent a ton of time and then to get treated like many of you are being treated!
