My free trial a couple of months ago was only 2 weeks, I wish I would have been luck enough to get the 3 or 4 week trial..... However all my codes are gone now, thanks to all who replied.


If we could maybe keep this going for a bit so those who still have codes and want to give them away that would be very helpful to those who may still want them.

I recently got a 1 month free code to give out as well. Normally its 2 weeks for new members.

I watch netflix using my Wii over WiFi. Really works great and I believe this also works with Playstation or XBox. Netflix software for all of them is free.

I called Netflix & they won't send the disc until we join. We don't want to join until we get our disc, the disc/Wii is how we would use Netflix & we don't want to waste days waiting for a disc! A month would give us the time we need!

Yes it is. You have to give a credit card for sign up but they don't charge you until the month is up. Also if you have ever had an account with the same credit card/address or ever had a free trial before they won't let you sign up again. As soon as you do, you get charged.

I, too, have been toying with the netflix idea since our Hollywood Video is going out of business and the only other option is Family Video which only rents new releases for one night. That ends up being a waste of money with overdue fees. Is everyone happy with Netflix?

You still have to join. I signed up online for Netflix and requested a Wii disc be sent. I filled out everything up to the point of entering my credit card information but did create the log in account with my email information etc. Two days later I received the disc in the mail. Could not actually watch anything until I completed my sign up.

Once signed up you can watch anything available during the trial period. If you cancel service during the trial period your card will not be charged. Otherwise it will be billed $8.99 per month from the end of the trail period on.

I've been using it for 3 weeks now and love it. New DVD releases are not available for viewing online but theres a ton of movies from last year and older. Also lots of TV show DVD's from years gone by as well.

Disboards doesn't allow links so for those that want the 1 month free offer PM me your email addy. I will forward the Netflix email I got. It clearly says to forward to others so no problem there!

Just a note though, you must fully sign up in order to get your 1 month free. If you cancel prior to the end of the month you pay nothing, otherwise Netflix will then begin charging you $8.99 a month.

I love it on my Wii, works great. You do need cable, dsl etc. internet as dial up will not work with Netflix. The higher the speed, the better the quality picture.
