Just back from a quick trip and discovered a new great building at Saratoga in both location and view. The one downer was the loss of Nescafé coffee. Waking up in the morning and having that first cup of Nescafé in the morning was one of our favorite routines. We now might have to bring our own coffee maker. The coffee that has replaced Nescafé is very strong. Is there anyone else who will miss this?

I can't quite tell if you are being sarcastic or serious.

This is honestly the first nice thing I have ever seen posted about that coffee which is why I didn't think you were being serious. I am still not convinced you are not kidding

I was ok with the Nescafe, but really like the Joffrey's coffee.

(I also wasn't sure if the OP was kidding or not!)

This is our first trip, so please pardon my ignorance, but is Nescafé an instant coffee? Did they replace it with another instant coffee? I'm a Starbucks bold roast drinker, so I LIKE strong coffee! What brand is it?

IMO, if Disney wants to try to lure more people out of the value (possibly even moderate) resorts, I bet that offering Starbucks Via might help lure coffee lovers who are on the fence about where to stay.

Yes I was serious. Nescafé was good for me. I remember a few years ago there was quite a thread concerning coffee at WDW. This thread was just my opinion as I really don't like the strong coffee that is there now.

My late husband wasn't a strong coffee drinker, and I loved a strong cup. His way of dealing with my coffee-making was to fill his cup up 2/3 full and add water. Worked like a charm. Our DD adds ice to her hot coffee, which cools it down, but also waters it down.

:lmao: I also thought the OP was very tongue-in-cheek.

We love good coffee and have been researching how we can bring our good organic sumatra beans so we aren't missing our good strong quality coffee.

Nescafe is good when you mix it cold for a Greek frappe. But I don't care for it hot.

It wasn't even instant in the way you are used to it was like coffee sludge they watered down and then made hot... The only place I ever had coffee was at Boma and the Kona Cafe where they both do press pots of really good coffee. I made do the rest of the time with a diet coke for my caffeine fix.

I'm with you OP. I too liked the Nescafé. Not necessarily because it was the most AMAZING coffee in the world. It just reminded me I was in disney. :goodvibes

It was joy in a cup!

Our entire family of serious coffee drinkers are totally PO about the Nescafé disappearance. We drank coffee like water even in the summer months because we LOVED it! We always got one last cup to take in the bus the rental car the airport to savor every last drop! It has been a huge blow to our family of 10 coffee drinkers. We HATE the new one. So for us, it's one more thing that Disney changed that we didn't get approval on. So.... Life goes on. And we have our pictures to remember the good days. I promise we are all very serious a out our coffee.

What size coffee pots are in the room? Are they the kind that we can put those coffee filters and coffee in or even buy the coffee pods? Are they 2 or 4 cups?

Add me to the (possibly very short) list of those who will miss the Nescafe...and yeah, I'm serious! I've learned how loyal coffee-drinkers are to their java, and given all the differing taste buds in this world, anybody should understand that there are Nescafe devotees. For me, the coffee strength had alot to do with it.
