While I doubt it's pesticide, this is still just a preliminary report from a news agency that's eager to scoop the rest of the crowd. Based on past "WE FOUND SOMETHING!!!!" news alerts, I'd wait for the final report.

It was pesticide and CNN should be ashamed of themselves for reporting that story like they did. .

I was watching it when it broke and they went to the reporter who was there and with the military Captain who conducted the search.

The embedded reporter kept trying to put words in his mouth, but the Captain said that no; none of his men became sick from being in the area- some had become sick earlier in the day from the heat and as soon as soon as they cooled down they were fine.

He also explained to the reporter how sensitive their equipment was. and how after an initial reading of possible nerve agents two other tests with more sophisticated equipment proved inconclusive. . and despite being pressed by the reporter he said since it was in a nursery setting next to a mosquito-infested river he was convinced it was just pesticides but they send it in for further tests.. and that's what it turned out to be.

Of course that didn't stop CNN from going with the original sensationalistic take even after the interview and other news stations picked it up and reported it the same way. . very typical of the "National Enquirer" type reporting from news sources that once had some integrity we've seen throughout this military action in Iraq. . .

Personally I think CNN should be ashamed of themselves quite a bit for biased reporting... I stay away from their reporting and keep to Fox......but then again it is no secret I support our action in Iraq and the President......so there would be those would argue that Fox is biased the other way..

Isn't it great that we can say what we think and do what we want in a country that is free to do so......as soon the dust settles I am sure the Iraqis will be able to do just that..
