Nerf Blaster advice

My DSs (age 6 and almost 9) have both asked for a Nerf gun for Christmas. We're not big on having toy guns in the house, but it's getting harder and harder to avoid it. They play wit the Nerf Blasters constantly when they go to their friends' houses.

With that in mind, which Nerf blaster would you recommend that Santa bring to them? When they asked for water guns, we managed to find Supersoakers with pump rather than trigger action, and they looked less "gun-like" than others. They like the Vortex line with the discs, but I think they'd be thrilled with whatever Santa brings. And, to make it budget board relevant, I'm interested in good deals available online.

my kids have always loved this one. I also suggest you buy some goggle because even though you say no shooting each other or at least no face, it's gonna happen.

Boys and their guns. We have almost every regular sized Nurf gun out there and they are all good. He plays with all of them at some time or another. I say just buy one that fits in your budget and they will be happy.

I hit the jack pot at Target this year, they had a huge gun on clearance, normally $50 sometime and I got it for $30 so my boy is going to be really happy when he opens that one up!

I got the darts on clearance for 50% off. They fit the chain gun one and that's what they were asking for and now I have the guns and the extra darts for it. What fun we're gonna have.

The disk ones are fun. DS hides back in the hall, and will shoot DH (who is in the living room) by bouncing the disks off the walls.

We like the bullets too. Those are fun for "sniping" each other at inopportune moments (that'll teach DH to lock the door when he's in the shower )

We have probably 25 Nerf guns at the house. And 10 Super soakers too.
