Nemo rumor! Close in OCT!!

Ok not sure if i should be spreading a rumor but i would just like to know if anyone else heard this that the Nemo subs are closing for a refurb OCT 7 through November. I heard this on mousechat and visionsfantastic.
I'm praying to mighty disneyland gods that this is not true, i'm going to disneyland in oct. and i'm going to cry is this is true. :

My DD says they are doing a refub in October, but they are doing a few subs at a time. So the ride will not shut down completely. At least that is what she knows as of today!

Does your dd happen to know or can guess how much this will slow down the lines? I was so looking forward to the lines being smaller for our end of Oct. trip but if some subs are out of commission I'm guessing the lines will move slower and we'll still end up with an awful wait. And is this in effect for the whole month? Thanks!

Actually, there are rumors that the ride will close, but her lead and managers have said no, only a few subs at a time. The A/C leaks and puddles form (by the driver) and they are concerned mold may delvelop. Also, there are problems with the IPT lines (the underwater power lines). And something about when a sub is "bumped" by another, it causes problems. I am sure it will impact the wait time, but the crowds in off season are about half, so maybe it won't be too bad.

For the record, I don't like speculating what will or won't happen because if I am incorrect, I don't want anyone to think I started a bogus rumor. So, please don't take what I say as "for sure fact". But I do like to be helpful .Things change at DL all the time!
