I know this is subject to change, but what are typical show times for the Nemo musical at AK? Specifically, how early is the first show of the day?

This site posts the show times for the current week, but they will be "close" for other times as well.
Near the top of the page, click on the colored links for the show times at the various parks.

FINDING NEMO -- THE MUSICAL

11:30am, 12:45, 3:00 & 4:45pm

Any experience with the different show times, and if any one is perhaps less crowded? Last time I went to the first one, 11:30, and it was packed. The line was incredibly long. And when we came out, there was already a long line for the next show. I was wondering about trying the last show of the day. I wish they'd have a showing during evening EMH, like FOLK does.

Like everything else, its all a matter of how many guests decide to go at which time.

I'd not want to wait until the last show and THEN find out it was too busy or there happened to be a technical glitch and the show would not run.

Best advice at this time is to arrive 45 minutes (or more) before show-time and stand in line.
Festival of the Lion King doesn't usually require that much advance waiting, but Nemo seems to, at least for now.

I would tell you one thing is be there early. We were there in January and the lines were so long and hour before the show. We missed the 1st showing of the day because we were there 1/2 before show and we didn't make it in. The 2nd show was cancelled do to technical difficulties. The Third show we made it to and started standing in line 1 1/2 hours before show and we were right by the big yellow dinosaur. We we got in we were ushered in and had to wait and additional 1/2 hour because of tecnical problems again. The crowd was getting restless and there were people leaving and yelling. We just sat there relieved to be seated. Anway, it was right when it opened so I don't know if you will have the same problems we did but just be prepared.

It's a cute show and if you like Nemo you will love it. The person who played Dori was really cute and perfect for the part.

Have a great trip!!

We got to the 4:45pm show at 4:42pm and we managed to find a great seat in the first row of the second section. The park was closing at 5pm, it might have been why the crowds were ok. 2 days earlier, we did the 11:30 show and some people in line didnt make it to the theater.......
