We will be there for a whole week - Jan 17 - 24 - any ideas or times for getting on these two rides w/minimal wait? Currently scheduled to "drizzle" on the Thursday!

TSMM: Single rider line is the only tip I know of for shorter wait.

Nemo: The lines shouldn't be too horrible mid-week when are you there. If you can do without actually getting inside a sub, you can request the alternate viewing room which is for those who are unable to navigate themselves into the sub. Basically you get the same on-ride video, without the smaller, enclosed space.

I think you should be fine with TSMM by the end of the month because everyone will be heading back to school by then. When we were there from the 3rd - 6th the longest we waited in line for it was 35 minutes. Not too bad at all ! If you can, I suggest to go to DCA when rope drop happens and wait in the line for TSMM, you will most likely get on in 15 minutes if you do that.

This tip works for any ride ~ as long as you are in line for a ride before the park closes you will get on the ride. We did this for Nemo last April (the park closed @ midnite :scared1:) and we did this for TSMM last month. Each time we got in line 10-15 min. before park closing, but if you got in line at :59 prior to park closing you would ride the ride. In my opinion Nemo is not worth a long wait, TSMM was very fun.

Best tip for Nemo doesn't necessarily give you a short wait time, but doesn't spend your time while you could be doing other things in the park. That tip is to get in line right before the Park closes. If you are in line, you will ride, even if it is an hour later.

I agree with the late night Nemo ride. That seems to work best for us.

For TSMM we like the single rider line but it didn't work so well for us last trip so we only did it once. We watched the person who would have been in front of us had we walked thru the line and they were only a few people back when we got on in the SR line. So the rest of the trip we waited....longest wait was 35 min. for us too. :)

I agree with late night Nemo too!

That's what we did and it worked out great for us. We probably waited 25 minutes.

Nemo - I say being the FIRST ride of the day when the park opens.
We did that last January on our last day & we only waited for 10-15 minutes :goodvibes

I haven't tried the late night Nemo, but that sounds fuun :cool1:

TSMM - We either like going the right when the park opens or an hour before it closes :) We only waited like 30 minutes at the most

Nemo - I say being the FIRST ride of the day when the park opens.

To add to that...if you have Magic Morning and you want to use it on Nemo instead of Fantasyland, do it the first ride on that day.

If you do NOT have Magic Morning (or you're using it on Fantasyland), be sure you don't try Nemo first thing on a MM day. The line will be full already.

So if you're not using a MM on Nemo, be there early early so you can be one of the first on Nemo on a non-MM day.

MM days are the S and T days...saturday sunday tuesday thursday.

TSMM I don't know. When I was planning for our December trip, I swear everyone was saying to skip the morning line and go later in the day. We did so and encountered 40 minute waits*. Then I got back and found everyone suggesting that the morning is the best time! Since I read here all the time I was a wee bit confused about when that changed. :)

*40 minute wait at TSMM isn't bad at all, IMO. I love the way they've designed the ride queues for both Nemo and TSMM. Nice and wide, and brilliantly designed switchbacks. And it's fun to watch everyone's faces as they realize that a 40 minute wait on TSMM includes going into a building that you didn't know was there until you got there...and knowing that that is exactly how YOU looked just as you noticed the building too, LOL. Even our 4 year old doesnt' complain about Nemo and TSMM lines, b/c they are just so pleasant in our opinion.

It does, however, take that time off of the parks, but for us, TSMM was worth it, and one day we spent a total of 70 minutes posted wait time for two rides of TSMM and it was worth it.
