I'm watching Conan right now. Neil Patrick Harris is the guest and while discussing the "attributes" of one of his fellow cast members, he actually said "curtains match the drapes" Brings me back to one of my favorite podcasts ever!!!

When I heard this the first time, I couldn't figure out why everyone was laughing.
It made sense to me. I guess I heard it and immediately translated it to "carpets match the drapes".

That's also how I've heard it. Curtains and drapes are pretty much the same thing - window coverings.
