My neighbors rang our bell at 9:30 last night and brought us a 12 bottle case of red wine. We barely know these people, we have only lived in our house for three months and only see them in passing to say hello. Why would they give us a case of wine? In DH's broken Italian and their broken English, he asked why and they said because we are so nice. This puzzles me because like I said they don't know us. (Not that we aren't nice
) And last month they went on vacation and they sent us a postcard too. It would be nice to think they were just being neighborly, but DH and I are thinking something is just strange. What do you all think?
