When we were having trouble with the neighbor dog coming into our yard and doing his thing I thought about sticking our dog's electronic collar on the dog. hehehe Give him a little shock... I might have actually done it, but I was afraid that the dog would take off back home too fast and I wouldn't get the collar back, not that we even use it for our dog.
I also thought of doing the same thing when the neighbor kids (same neighbor) let their little kids over to our house and one tried to climb a little sapling tree and broke it. Pretty sure they were the same ones to pull up all the berry bushes along the side of our house (twice), but I didn't find our for sure about that one (the tree incident one of the kids admitted to). The neighbors still live there, but their grown child who had little kids doesn't live with them anymore so I'm only faced with the problem when they are visiting.
Those neighbors are crazy, though, so I try not to have anything to do with them. Really it's just the "old" man (not that old, but the oldest person there) so we steer clear of him.
How about getting a nice BIG dog? One that is very protective. You could take him to obediance school for training. Teach him to sit right on the driveway and to bark and growl whenever these kids step 1 inch over your property line!
Give him a really big rough and tough name too, like Rocky or KillerJoe.
Next time they are on your lawn record yourself telling them to leave, they are not welcome on your property. Record their reactions. If you don't want to do it then make sure you do it next time they allow their dog to poop on your yard. That could be a fineable offense.
