Needs some help......PLEASE!!

My husband just got his credit report from Trans Union. He has been holding credit since the early 90's. Trans Union just reported that he has only been on file since Apr '03!! No house, but the car and only 1 of his credit cards is there. They also have our address wrong. At this point I am at the end of my rope as to what to do. I have heard of a lawsuit suing them but do i have rights? Any help would be awsome...

You need to talk to a consumer lawyer. Call the Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service at 1-800-342-8011 and let them know that you need a consumer lawyer. He'll be able to tell you what your rights are. Probably for free.

The first thing I would recommend is to check everything on the report to see that it is accurate especially SSN, then check the records of anything missing on the report to see that they're accurate. If the SSN is incorrect on anything it won't show up. If everything matches then I would contact Trans Union as well as the companies whose information is not appearing. I would also get credit reports from the other companies that provide them to see what they're showing. Good luck.

I would just call them and ask them what is going on. Maybe they have a complete report for him but for some reason it was not accessed by the information you gave. I'm sure they will be happy to clear it up for you.
