Needle In A Haystack At MGM

Wish to share an experience I had at MGM. For some strange reason, I decided to throw away my reading glasses into a park trash bin by accident. After running back and forth to my vehicle in the parking lot looking for them, I realized what I did and went back to the area where I thought they were thrown away. As luck would have it, I noticed other bins nearby being emptied and asked the CM if the one I used had been serviced and it had been. I told her my story and she went out of her way to look thru all those other bags in her large cart and she found my glasses. That is something I did not expect to happen and this saved me the trouble of getting a new RX and glasses which I can not read and do any other close work without. Needless to say, I reported this to the guest relations so she would get an official certificate from park management for giving such excellent service to an embarassed guest, and yes ladies, my wife beat on me the rest of the day for being an old "fud" which I freely admit to.

I once thought I lost our camcorder. I am terrible for sitting things down where ever I am and then leaving it. I sat our camcorder down on the ground while a couple with us took our picture..then I took theirs and we all left for another attraction. I guess about 10 minutes later it occurred to me that I wasn't carrying the camera bag anymore and panicked. Our friend had picked it up and was carrying it the whole time. He was going to wait and see how long it took me to remember it was gone. I was relieved, but unfortunately, it still doesn't stop my absent-mindedness. Glad you found a nice CM to get your glasses back! That could have been expensive and annoying for the rest of your vacation!

My mom and I went to Epcot for a few hours one afternoon, and decided to have a snack at LeCellier, and when we were waiting for a boat over to MGM to catch a bus, I realized I couldn't find my denim jacket, and was going to call lost and found when we got back to the resort, well, I went to the room to get the refillable mugs while my mom called dad from a payphone, and lo and behold, I HADN'T EVEN BROUGHT MY JACKET!! It was hanging up in the room!! DOI!!! Talk about CRS!!!!
