Needle Disposal

As I suffer from migraines one of my medications is an injection that is like an EpiPen. Because it is a needle I can't just throw it in a regular garbage. I was wondering if there is any place at the resorts or in the parks where I could drop off the needles. This isn't an everyday thing but like an EpiPen just in case it is needed.

The main desk at our resort was able to arrange for us to get a sharps container for my husband's needles and lancets. The parks have sharps containers in the bathrooms.

my adult daughter got her container from housekeeping. they were happy to get her one

Thank you as well. As I believe it is also for their safety as well they would want a safe disposal of needles. All if this is new for me. This side of it. I am use to providing them for people. I am just making sure I know everything.

Just to add, this is also true at resort bathrooms.

IIRC, there are sharps containers at many, if not all, bathrooms to accommodate diabetics, etc. in the parks and resorts.

While Sharps containers are widely available at WDW, you may want to get a needle clipper for “just in case” a Sharps isn’t handy - whether that be at WDW or elsewhere.

Needle clippers won't work for what I have. I usually just put the cover back over the needle to protect everyone. That is what I do when I go to places that don't have one and carry it to my pharmacy to dispose of them.
