Needing so princess dresses for my 7yr old daughter. She is a size 7/8. I looked on ebay and very expensive. Anyone have some for decent price or know where or how to get some for our upcoming trip in March 2012?
Thanks!:)

Target, Walmart, etc usually carry dresses in the toy section.

Online a lot of costume places are starting to sell them.

The Birthday Express used to sell costumes...not sure if they still do.

I googled cheap disney princess costumes ad several places had them for less than $20. Which princess does she want to be?

I wish you would have posted sooner I just sold that size belle dress for $3 at our yardsale. Maybe someone else who has been meaning to clean out the princess closet will see this and help you out.

I have purchased Disney authentic dresses from an Ebay seller (wantsnneeds4u) for under $40 with reasonable shipping and great customer service. She has access to the different sizes and if you send her a message with what you are looking for, she will try to get it for you. :goodvibes

I have Snow White and Cinderella that are both size 7/8. My girls are now 13. If you want to PM me I will get your email address and see if I can send you pictures of them. I'll have to get my kids to help me with that part.

I just could never bring myself to part with the dresses. Maybe it's time. :goodvibes

They've been hanging in a closet, not folded or in the attic.

Since you don't need them until March, look for the after halloween sales online or if you have a store near you. I have gotten some great deals that way.

You may want to check children's resales shops too. We have one nearby and I never noticed many costumes, so one day I asked. The owner had a ton in storage (normally only brought them out for halloween). I bought several nice quality Disney princess costumes for about $10 each.

If you're not going until March, wait until after Halloween and pick up some princess costumes on clearance.

Good ideas everyone.
I found a few on ebay at a decent price for my DN last year. Sadly this year she wants nothing to do with princesses. She was my last hold out, since my DD gave the princess thing up a few years ago.

Me too - she's fantastic - her items are the same items you'd find in the parks!! Take a *look*
:thumbsup2

My daughter is the same size, and I can vouch that the ones Walmart and Target sell will NOT fit her, lol.

she is to big for the walmart and target dresses (like previously posted). She wears a 7/8 or 9/10.
I will check out Halloween-thanks for that tip.
I will check out my email-been at the lake since early friday!
Thanks for the ebay sellers name-I will check that out also.
And thanks for all the replies!!:)

If she is already a size 7/8 then next year she may be the next size up.

I would wait a bit and see. After Halloween is a good time to find princess dresses.
