Needing recommendation for resort dinner on DHS day?

On our second day at DHS, I am thinking about taking the boat to one of the nearby resort restaurants for an early dinner and then returning to the park (if we decide to). We've not eaten at any of those resorts, i.e. Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk, Beach & Yacht Club). Any recommendations?

There are LOTS of restaurants in this area, but they are very different...are you on the DDP? If you are looking for a DDP restaurant, the Swan and Dolphin have great restaurants but are not on the DDP. Do you want casual or nice, inexpensive, moderate or more expensive? Burgers or steak or fish?
I think that will give people a better idea of what to recommend.
Beaches and Cream is at the Beach Club and a TS but casual, and great burgers/fries/ice cream...
Also at Beach Club is Cape May Cafe where they they have a seafood buffet.
Yachtsman Steakhouse is at the Yacht Club and has steak.
Flying Fish is on the Boardwalk and is more upscale and good fish.
ESPN has burgers, etc. as well.

I'm sure others can recommend what is good at the Swan/Dolphin and others in that area.
There are a lot of choices...good luck finding something!

We ate at the Cape May Cafe Clambake at the Beach Club a few weeks ago and it was awesome. Without a doubt, it was the best buffet of the week. We are not seafood eaters so I can't comment on that part but everything else they had, and there were a lot of other options, was soooo good. It is a definite repeat for us the next time we go!

I see your going during Free DDP. So are we!:goodvibes

I would rec. Spoodles though it's not as good as it used to be.

Will you have Park Hoppers? If so, I would go into Epcot (thru the International Gate) and eat at the WS. Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo, the German restaurant, are a few good choices.

I am on the DDP - sorry I left that information out. I don't really have a preference at this point on the type of food, but am probably looking in the moderate range (not 2 TS credits, but not burgers and fries, either). Of the ones you mentioned, Cape May Cafe and Yachtsman Steakhouse sound appealing.

I'm thinking my DH and DS would really enjoy this - they are more seafood eaters than my daughter and I (although I do enjoy some dishes). I mean, its not everywhere you can get clams on a buffet and I think this would be a selling point for them.

We are not getting park hoppers this trip so dining in Epcot this particular day wouldn't be an option.
