In the past, we've had no problems. But now.... there doesn't seem to be any restaurants with availability for 10 people. Does anyone have experience for doing this? If we try to make 2 smaller ADR's, I don't think the system will allow it. Disney phone lines are crazy busy. Any advice on how to do this?

Thanks so much!

Does more than 1 person have a MDE account? You could make a reservation from each account. And you only have to list the lead guest, not each person present. So you may even be able to make them from the same account using a different name for each lead. I have made reservations at different restaurants for my DH & myself at the same time in the same MDE account. But I have never tried it with the same restaurant, so not sure if that would work.

It's still possible if table space is available. I just booked an ADR for 10 people for Oga's Cantina for the week after next by checking right when the reservations came available after park hours were extended.

Best bet is to know when reservations come open (60 days out if staying on site, 1-3 days after park hours extend, etc.), set up notification from an ADR watching site, and then watch your emails and texts like a hawk :)

We're doing a split stay. 9 nights in 3 resorts. If we were able to have the +10 advantage from checkin date, then we would probably be ok. However, we have to start all over 60 days out from each of our 3 checkin days. When are the park hours extended? And then ADR's open up for the extended hours? We have a couple of resort restaurants that we're wanting, and that wouldn't help with them I don't think.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the idea of booking ADR's from 2 different MDE accounts and having 2 different leads. That might work, but then we probably won't be seated near each other. I wonder if Disney Dining has a way to "link" the reservations in a way that would show both reservations are part of a bigger party. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks for the help!

Park hours have been getting extended ~2 weeks in advance. Most recently, they've been getting extended on Fridays around 12 PM EST and then ADRs start showing up between Saturday-Tuesday afterwards. For this last week, Park hours for the week of 4/19 were extended on 4/2 and ADRs started showing up at 5:30 AM EST on 4/6.

I'd also recommend signing up for the touring plans reservation finder and/or mouse dining notifications if you're looking for resort reservations. You might get lucky in advance but from what I've seen for our upcoming trip, those don't open up very often until you get closer to the actual date.

Good luck!

My group of 10 went to Disney about 2 weeks ago. The only reservations I was able to get for 10 was at ogas and rainforest cafe. I had topolino, the plaza, San angel, chef Mickey and California grill with multiple reservations. I made the reservations under two different my Disney experience profiles. When I arrived instead of doing mobile check in I went to the host/hostess and asked if they could sit us together. California grill and San angel were able to sit us at the same table. The rest made an effort to seat us very close together.

It's great to hear that Disney made an effort to seat your party together or close by. We are going in May and had to split our party of 10 into parties of 4 and 6. I will try this!

For OP, it worked for us to sign into two different MDE accounts and book the reservations in groups of 4 and 6. In every instance, we got reservation times within 10 minutes of each other...sometimes right at the same time. I originally tried booking both from my account and changing the lead, but the system wouldn't let me and asked me if I wanted to swap out the reservation that I had already booked. Good luck!

I do not believe they have tables for 10. Try 4 or 6 as the other posters have mentioned.

Ours were within 15-30 minutes of each other and every time we were sat at the same time. I always told them we would be willing to wait longer to sit together, but never had to wait more then 10 minutes.

^ This. We have a party of 14 headed down in 2 weeks. I was able to split our group into a party of 8 and a party of 6 and get ADR's within about 10-15 minutes of each other. I did jump on early the morning of our 60 day window opening to get what we could. I was able to do it with two MDE accounts (my wife and mine) online without having to call them. Our plan is to check-in together about 15 minutes early and see if we could either sit together or sit near each other. We realize that we won't be able to sit together most times (likely) but we'll mix up our group so we all have time together.
