Need your opinions!

So we're going to a big dog halloween event this weekend and we're bringing our two border collies (both males, ones's 7, the other's only 6 months). There is a costume contest and we were having trouble deciding on what to dress them up as so that they "go together". So we finally decided on the blues brothers, since their colors are ready black and white like a tux and we added a hat, sunglasses and a tie, and harmonica for one. But we feel like no one will realize who they are. Sound like a good idea? Well now, I have mario and luigi in mind....so I need some help in deciding what would be best. Thanks!!

I think the Blues Brothers sounds adorable!!! My DH and I would certainly recognize who they were!

I can't wait to hear the other suggestions, though I think your initial idea is great. You should post a picture.
