Need your opinion.

okay so i had a white wedding dress but things happened and had to get a new dress. The new dress is ivory. Here's what i need your opinion on. I took on of my flower girls to try on dresses. Well she feel in love this one dress thats white. (She is only 2 years old) She looked so cute in the dress. She choose it herself. We haven't order it yet. So do you think that it will look okay if she was to wear the dress in white and me in ivory?

I'm not a traditionalist so my answer would be in the form of another question - is everyone happy with their dress?

Being that she is two and loves her dress, even if the dress clashed a little, I think her smile would be worth it

I had a friend who had two flower girls ages 1 and 2 and she was freaking out because she ordered the dresses online and one came back white and one came back ivory. And her dress was ivory. There wasn't enough time to return the white one...

There were lots of tears shed on that topic. Now 6 months later - you can't tell in the pictures and she laughs about what a spaz she was about that.

If everyone is happy - go for it. And really no one will notice unless you point it out.

I say order the white FG dress. A lot of brides have flower girl dresses that are blue or pink or green etc and obviously those don't match white wedding dresses. Look at it like white is just another color

From an opposite perspective, I was told by several different (professional) people that they should all be the same colour, otherwise the off-white/ivory will look dirty in pictures. But how many pictures will you have where you are directly next to the flower girls? Probably not many,so I am sure it isn't a big deal.
